Anushka Sharma, an Bollywood actor and producer. Her name has been praised for her acting and as one of the best-paid Bollywood actresses. Nush is her own clothing line for women. Anushka Sharma is child of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya the state of Uttar Pradesh on May 1st 1988. Her father is an officer in the Colonel (retd.) She is also a housewife. Karnesh Sharma, Anushka's elder brother, was an Merchant Navy officer and is an upcoming film director. Anushka completed her education at Army School in Bangalore, followed by the Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) at Mount Carmel College. Anushka has a Masters in Arts (Economics). Anushka Sharma dreamed to become journalist or model, but she did not want to be an actor. Anushka moved to Mumbai after completed her graduation and enrolled herself at the Elite Model Management, and was groomed by stylist Prasad Bidapa. Anushka made her debut as a model for 2017 to model for Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show at Lakme Fashion Week. He chose her as the final model for the 2007 Spring/Summer Collection. The modeling career of Anushka began during Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. The model has since been featured in several campaigns, including campaigns in support of Fiat Palio & Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma alongside her modelling career joined an acting school and started giving auditions for films. Anushka Sharma's acting debut was in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi with Shah Rukh Khan. In preparation for her screen-test, Anushka Sharma took all day. Then she was signed to three films under Yash Raj Films banner. She portrayed an unwed bride and married to a man in middle aged (the persona Shah Rukh Khan was portraying). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka performed along with Shahid Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das as well as Meiyang Chang in the 2010 movie "Badmash Company". The movie received mixed praises. That same year Anushka Sharma was seen in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat' along with Ranveer Singh, in which she played the role of a middle class Punjabi girl who launches her own business of wedding planning. The film received excellent reviews and was widely regarded as a sleeper success. In Band Baaja Baaraat, Anushka's three-film deal under the Yash Raj Films banner was completed.
